STOCKHOLM - Scandinavian airline SAS said they plan to conduct the first flight times for same-sex marriage.
"This will be a traditional wedding, there will be wedding cake and dancing in the aisle aircraft" said SAS spokesman Anders Lindstroem told AFP on Thursday (09/02/2010).
SAS accept gay couples who want to celebrate their wedding on a flight from Stockholm to New York on December 6, the winner will be selected through online media.
The airline will provide tickets along with hotel and honeymoon packages to Los Angeles, as well as charter banquet, albeit with a special menu of marriage is not the normal fare of passengers.
Linstroem said SAS is currently pursuing U.S. airlines, which in recent years to treat gay couples, lesbian and bisexual people with special.
The celebrations will also be done on the plane Sweden, where gay marriage was legalized.
The couple and guests will get a business class that is closed, to avoid the other customers who would not like and do not approve of such marriages in the fuselage.
