The study was conducted to more than 1200 participants aged 15 to 24 years. The study is part of the government's campaign titled "Sex. Worth Talking About "which target the younger generation on the importance of continuity of a relationship.

"These findings open enough relationship game today," said Catherine Hood, the campaign spokesman told the BBC.

"While many couples realize the importance of being honest with their sexual past, but inhibits their shame to be honest. And this is potentially at risk for their sexual health and their relationship in the future, "concludes Catherine.
